Join the momentum at MNP, as we are currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to join our growing Administration team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Strategically supporting the firm, our Administration team anticipates the needs of our team members and Partners. We effectively communicate information for service lines, industry and specialty groups and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our administrators support initiatives and ensure efficiency, alowing MNP to better serve our clients and people.

Prepare, review and edit highly complex proposals, presentations, reports and other correspondence materials with keen attention to detail using tools including Visio, Adobe, Powerpoint, Excel and MS-Word
Assist in processing contracts
Prepare, review and complete staff timesheets, invoices, expense claims, accounts receivable tracking, and monthly reporting for Partners
Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
Ensures that all necessary material and supplies are prepared for all meetings, including arranging for food and drinks
Take and transcribe meeting minutes
Manage and coordinate multiple calendars and assist with scheduling appointments
Receive and screen all in-bound calls, emails, and visitors; reply or redirect accordingly
Greet and direct all visitors including vendors, clients, job candidates and customers. As the first point of contact, may be required to resolve difficult issues regarding client complaints and other matters
Train new and current staff on administrative procedures
Maintain electronic and paper filing system while ensure filing and administrative processes are completed accurately and on time
Fax, photocopy and scan documents as required
Minimum 2 to 5 years experience as an Administrative Assistant
Strong computer literacy, including advanced working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy
Previous experience preparing complex documents, reports, proposals and presentations
Post-secondary education considered an asset
