Responsibilities

  • Manages reception area – receives, screens and routes incoming calls, greets walk-ins, sorts and distributes company mail
  • Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook
  • Filing
  • Supports and monitors office operations – responsible for ensuring stationery cabinet is stocked, and supplies are ordered as required
  • Supports the senior management team, and other ad hoc requests
  • Performs other administrative duties as requested by the various internal departments
  • Support other office management including, courier/mail deliveries, maintain filing system
  • Provide back up to service dispatcher

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in office administration, Microsoft Word document formatting and report preparation (education in office administration an asset);
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat;
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles; experience with QuickBooks will be an asset
  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to prioritize with excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
