Kaigo Senior Living Group provides high quality complex care and assisted living services and accommodations to residents throughout the Interior and Lower Mainland. The head office in Vancouver is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position as Accounting Coordinator.
Ensure invoices are appropriately coded and approved.
Direct Accounting Assistant to enter the approved invoices.
Conduct semi-monthly cheque runs in a timely manner.
Present cheques and other payments to signing authorities in a systematic way.
Record any resident movements during a month for each facility.
Maintain the monthly rate for each of the residents.
Verify the resident lists forwarded from the sites on a weekly basis.
Conduct monthly billing and EFT collections.
Prepare recurring monthly journal entries
Assist Financial Controller for annual audit
Other projects as assigned by Financial Controller
Good knowledge of office procedures
Good knowledge of GAAP
Combined experiences in AP, AR, and GL
AccPac – Intermediate to advanced
Excel – Intermediate to advanced
Outlook/Internet – Intermediate
Organizational, time management, and problem solving skill
