What are the requirements to obtain a "Visit Visa"?
Each country has different criteria for permitting entry into their country, however there are a lot of similarities too. Basically they want to know who you are, Where and whom you are going to visit in the country, whether you have a formal invitation, whether you have enough funds to cover your trip, and most importantly whether you intend to go back to your country that you are currently holding a residence in or not. If the Immigration official at the desired embassy is satisfied with the answers to all these questions, then your visa will be issued. 

How long is my Visit Visa Good For? 
That depends on your reason for the visit; it could be from one week to 90 days.  

Can I obtain a Visit Visa and look for Employment in Canada, U.S. or Schengen?
No, it is just that simple, these countries specifically are very strict about whom they are letting visit and why.
